REASONS MOMMMY DRINKS

Hilarious blog Reasons Mommy Drinks asked me to create their logo and identity with one ask: that it centres around a soother. I started with the illustration of the soother and came up with several concepts afterwards. They ended up choosing a concept reminiscent of a Pub chalkboard.

DAY+NITE MAGAZINE

I Art Direct and create all the spreads for Day+Nite Magazine with extremely quick turnaround and little to no photography budget. It's a challenge, but I make it work! This is the Red Bull issue where DJs across the globe competed for the title of Thre3style Champion.

SAINSBURY'S | SONY | MOVIEXTRAS

While working at Hixville (now Darkside), I illustrated Christmas icons and designed layouts for Sainsbury's stores in the UK. These ISM materials, including an FSDU and wobblers were advertising Sony's Moviextras program.

WEDDING STATIONERY

While living in England I was asked to create invitations for a wedding that would involve a double-decker bus tour around London. The other ask was to include the couple's dog somewhere on the invite. The result is a fun theme where the invitations look like vintage bus tickets and the table cards like tube stops.

LOST FOREST MEDIA

Worked with business partners Janine and David on the new look for their production company Lost Forest Media. Of course, with two people, it can often be difficult to decide on which logo to go with. Despite providing alternate versions of the leaf logo, all of our hearts were with the tree icon. Layering it on top of the foggy forest image was the icing on the cake.

Before Last Call | Day+Nite Magazine

I created four illustrations, as well as the layout, for Day+Nite Magazine's July 2015 issue with a few days turn around. The article was highlighting the best parks in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal and needed to be bright and friendly.

KICK-ASS

Art Directed a Europe-wide campaign for the movie Kick-Ass. Working closely with Universal I developed all aspects of creative for the film. This included packaging, attention grabbing FSDUs, OOH, Print Ads, Digital Ads, ISM and a limited edition script as a buying incentive. We also made an interactive trailer where viewers could click on characters to learn more about them. Finally, we developed an app (back when apps weren't so commonplace) where you could become your favourite character. ZDW won a BVA for Best Agency that year (2012) which included this project and many others I worked on. Agency: Zero Degrees West (formally MME)

HAND-LETTERING

I love the idea of juxtaposing slightly negative statements with lovely decorative hand-lettering. I started off by drawing out the words with pencil, then scanned them and trace in Illustrator. This is what I do for fun :)
